Here are answers to common questions couples ask us as they start to plan their day.<\/p>\n

What are the rules for obtaining a marriage license in TN?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can apply up to 30 days ahead of time through Hamilton County Clerk<\/a>. Georgia will only allow their marriage license to be used in Georgia, so you would need to obtain a TN license for your ceremony in Tennessee. The Hamilton County Clerk office is located at 625 Georgia Avenue, in downtown Chattanooga and is open Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm – both people must go in person with their government issued ID to sign and pickup the license. The cost for a marriage license is $103.00 – be sure to bring your marriage license paperwork with you to the ceremony, and our officiant will sign and submit it.<\/i><\/p>\n

What is the backup plan for inclement weather?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We watch the weather starting about 5 days before your ceremony. If rainy weather is in the forecast, we start a conversation about\u00a0an\u00a0alternative plan. Then about 24-48 hour we make the call to push your timeframe to before\/after the weather passes, move to the following day (pending there are no other weddings booked), or clients sometimes book a backup, indoor location such as the Read House or Common House.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

How many guests can we invite?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Approximately 20 guests, but\u00a0depending on the site, it can be flexible. \u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Do clients typically have a reception after their elopement or micro-wedding?\u00a0<\/strong> <\/i><\/p>\n

Everyone is different, but yes, client are now starting to have some sort of small reception planned for after the ceremony. Elopement clients sometimes bring a small cake or cupcake to share. Here are the four most common reception ideas we’ve seen with these smaller weddings.<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

What kind of shoes should I wear?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0For Snooper’s Rock and Cloudland Canyon, we recommend bringing a comfortable pair of hiking shoes or sandals in addition to your wedding shoes. Sometimes it can be muddy at these locations or difficult to traverse in high heels.<\/i><\/p>\n

Can we bring confetti\/items to throw at the end of the ceremony?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If\u00a0your\u00a0ceremony is at an outdoor location such as a park or overlook, we do no recommend it. We abide by the “leave no trace” mantra, and with these spots being public spaces, we need to leave them as we found them.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Should we have music?\u00a0<\/strong> <\/i><\/p>\n

Yes! We recommend having background music,\u00a0especially as the bride walks in. This can be as simple as a smart phone + Wifi speaker a guest controls, or live music such as a guitar or violin.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Can we bring props\/items?\u00a0<\/strong> <\/i><\/p>\n

Yes! Lots of clients bring a bottle of\u00a0champagne to open\/toast, a wedding cake, a rug to stand on for the ceremony, a blanket if it’s cold, and items like that. \u00a0We\u00a0recommend bringing any extra special items you’d like to have captured, such as a photo of a\u00a0relative, invitations, perfume, etc. for details shots.<\/i><\/p>\n

How long will it take to receive our images?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our turn around time for the two-hour elopements\/micro-weddings is about 4 weeks. We aim to get about 15 preview images to clients within a week of the ceremony.<\/i><\/p>\n

What colors should we wear?<\/strong><\/div>\n
If you’re having an outdoor wedding during a very green season (spring\/summer), we suggest not having people wear lots of green. \u00a0Other than that, wear what you love! Casual, formal, a mix – everything works great and you’ll have beautiful pictures, whatever you choose.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our Late Arrival Policy:<\/strong><\/div>\n
Because we’ve had our clients show up late to their weddings, we are having to implement a late arrival fee. If we start 30 minutes later than the planned arrival time, there is a $50 fee. Then you would decide if you wanted to add additional time or just end the session at the designated time. For example, if you are 30 minutes late, there is a $50 fee to pay our officiant to cover his time, and you would have 1 hour and 30 minutes left on your time with Joseph taking photos. However, if you would like the full two hours of photos, an additional fee will be required to compensate Joseph\u2019s time. That additional fee is determined by how late you are.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What is the turn around time for photos?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/big> For Engagement or Bridal portraits,\u00a0typical\u00a0turnaround time is 10 business days from the\u00a0day of the shoot. For weddings, turnaround time is 8 weeks from the wedding day.\u00a0On request, we can provide a\u00a0sampling\u00a0of the best images from the wedding day 2 weeks after.<\/em><\/div>

Does Cinderella Wedding Photography travel for weddings?<\/strong><\/big> Yes!\u00a0Cinderella Wedding Photography Company has done weddings\u00a0all over the South, and some in the Northeast. The\u00a0farthest\u00a0they've gone is Dublin, Ireland. To\u00a0travel, Cinderella usually charges $55 for each hour of total driving, or for the cost of plane tickets. In Tennessee, does Joseph usually shoot with someone else?\u00a0<\/strong><\/big> Before starting Cinderella Wedding Co., Joseph started his first photography business in 2006 (https:\/\/www.josephelliott.net<\/a>)<\/strong>, and has been doing photography at weddings for over 15 years. Joseph is the primary\u00a0photographer, while other photographers\u00a0will accompany him as an\u00a0assistant\/second shooter on wedding days. The second shooter\u00a0does a lot of the behind-the-scenes work like building photobooks and editing, and capturing details on the wedding day.\u00a0Because\u00a0Joseph is the primary\u00a0photographer, he will\u00a0do all the engagements and bridal portraits by himself. All the engagements and bridal portraits featured on the website were taken by Joseph.<\/em><\/div>

How much is the deposit to book Cinderella Wedding Photography?<\/strong><\/big> We let you\u00a0decide the amount for a deposit. As long as it's larger than $500, it can be any\u00a0amount to book us. Also, custom payment plans are available to fit your budget. What is the RAW video footage included in addition to the highlight video?<\/strong><\/big> RAW means completely unedited and untouched.\u00a0 It's all of the clips that were captured on the wedding day, back to back to back, and provided on a Vimeo link.
