Best Time for Fall Leaves in Tennessee
Best Time for Fall Leaves in Tennessee – looking for peak leaf season here in Chattanooga for your wedding? We can help.
Finding the best time for leaves in Chattanooga for a fall wedding, elopement, or micro-wedding is usually the top of the list when a client is picking a date. Now that we’ve captured more than 300 outdoor ceremonies in the southeast Tennessee area, we can help you find the perfect date. Looking for a mountain top, riverside, or in an open field, we’ll help you find the perfect spot, too.
Most people think fall starts in September, but here in Chattanooga, it really starts in mid-October. That means the leaves really don’t start really popping to their reds, oranges, and yellow until the end October. There are some hints of fall in September, but with temperatures sometimes still in the upper 80’s, we still consider it a summer month here.
So when is the best time to capture all the fall leaf magic? We tell clients to look at the very end of October into the second week of November. That’s not a huge amount of time, so it’s best to have some flexibility and open to a weekday ceremony. Not only does that open up more dates, but you won’t be competing with the larger-scale weddings that book up the venues.
Our favorite locations for outdoor elopements are all listed on our 2 Hour All-Inclusive Elopement Package page, with details about each spot.
