The best urban wedding venues in Chattanooga feature tons of historic charm. Natural light, epic views, and high ceilings make these venues some of our favorites.

Even in the middle of downtown, these venues are large enough to have wedding big or small. They can host the getting ready, ceremony, and reception all in one place. Clients also choose to just host their reception here and their ceremony at another location.

We wanted to draw attention to some of Chattanooga’s best urban wedding venues (in no particular order!), making it easier for clients and future clients to find the perfect place for their wedding.

The Turnbull

The Turnbull – Located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, this historic building has ample space and tons of natural light – a favorite feature for photographers! The industrial vibe and gorgeous features, this urban venue is one of our absolute favorites.  See more from Callie+Ross, Caitlin+Hunter, and Lauren+Matt.

The Hunter Museum

Hunter Museum of American Art

The Hunter Museum of American Art – What could be better than having your wedding and/or reception at an art museum? The views of the Walnut Street Bridge and Tennessee River give The Hunter even more to love about it.  We’ve shot her many times over the years – check out Agnes+Nate , Cherie+Russell, Monica+Nate.

The Church on Main

Church on Main

The Church on Main – Smack on the heart of Southside, this restored church is large enough to host both the ceremony and reception. The tall ceilings, exposed beams, and gorgeous hardwood floors.  Check out Alex+Allison fall wedding.

Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall

Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall – Right by the Tennessee River, this historic building wrapped in windows is next to the Chattanooga Whiskey Distillery.  This gives couples and their guests a truly unique experience! We had the best time here for Nicole+Walter’s spring wedding.

Common House

Common House – While we haven’t shot at this venue yet, we can’t wait. Opening in 2021 this restored historic building is definitely going to be one of the hottest venues in Chattanooga.
