I had a wonderful year working with so many amazing couples, and wanted to showcase my favorite wedding pictures from 2016. I truly loved each and every wedding I photographed this year, so narrowing the list down was incredibly difficult.
The weddings we captured in 2016 ranged from big to small, rustic to modern, indoor churches to outdoor settings, well-known venues to private land. No two weddings are the same, and that’s why I love my job so much. I get to travel all over the Chattanooga region and photograph people on one of the most important days of their lives with their family and friends looking on. I’m surrounded by happiness and celebrations – I truly am blessed.
I have so many fond memories that I have from each wedding: the fireworks at Nancy+Paul’s reception, the whiskey toast before Karen+Mason’s ceremony, the way the Hunter Museum’s outdoor space was completely transformed at Chloe+Austin’s reception, the unbelievable smiles on Kacie+Jonathan’s faces, and the stunning beauty of Caraline+Grayson. The list could go on and on.
Not only is each wedding unique in every way, but being able to capture the essence of their style is one of the best parts of my job. Meeting each couple and learning about what they want the end result to look is a challenge I thrive on accomplishing.
This was also the year we started offering wedding films, and I couldn’t be more proud of the two that we made for Danielle+Sean and Lauren+Brandon.
While 2016 was truly incredible, I look forward to the new year, new challenges, and capturing more amazing couples.
