Breathtaking and unique. Those are the two best words to describe the experience of shooting Chloe and Austin’s wedding.

I had never even met Chloe or Austin before I went to shoot their wedding on January 16th. Victoria Love Events handled their booking with us, and as is the case with all weddings done by Victoria and her crew, it ended up being an incredible, stressless, fun time because they think of and take care of everything. Plus they’re just super cool people to work with in general. I always look forward to weddings that are being planned through Victoria Love because they always rank up there as the most memorable!

As I mentioned, I usually meet the clients beforehand, doing an initial meeting, engagements and such, but because Chloe+Austin live in Nashville, we didn’t get a chance to meet. Upon meeting them at the wedding, I got to see how laid back and really genuinely nice they are – they’re young, passionate, and have their whole lives in front of them – there was just tons of cool, positive energy surrounding them and their families and friends.

Their wedding was at Patton Chapel, which is a really old, beautiful chapel located on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus. The classic, sophisticated feel of Patton Chapel complimented so nicely with the wedding itself – Chloe’s dress was unbelievably gorgeous and timeless, having an almost Kate Middleton look to it, which fit right in with the feel of the chapel.

The reception at the Hunter Museum of American Art was a work of art in itself – thanks to Victoria and her staff no detail was overlooked and the party was one of the most fun receptions I’ve been able to shoot. The upstairs balcony was tented, giving stunning night views of the river and North Shore. And it wasn’t just an ordinary tent – it was almost like an extension of the inside of the building – twinkling lights, heat (it was January, after all) dance floor, couches, stunning floral arrangements, and the food from Lee Towery Catering was delicious. A super fun detail from the reception is after everyone had eaten and then been dancing for about two hours, a huge stack of Krystals were delivered and set up in the shape of a wedding cake – it was hilarious, and kept the party going for a few more hours!

This was definitely a wedding I will never forget, and I wish Austin+Chloe the best!
