Inside a Georgia state park, Cloudland Canyon is about 35 minutes from downtown Chattanooga making it a top hiking spot for the area. Being such a large state park, there are ample locations with picturesque backdrops for your pictures. We do the ceremonies at the top, with the option to hike to Cherokee Falls for additional pictures. With tons of parking, bathrooms, and accessible views, this location would be great for either a small elopement or larger micro wedding.
Additionally, the waterfall is typically dried up in September/October.
No confetti, birdseed, or other items not naturally found in the area can be thrown.
We love these places and want to continue being able to use them by abiding by the “leave no trace” mantra. We don’t want to run this risk of not being allowed to use the spaces in the future.
