With brutally hot summers in Chattanooga, doing engagement sessions in the mornings just makes sense. It’s cooler and the morning light really works to our advantage. We moved from the nature setting of North Georgia to downtown Chattanooga.
We started Matthew+Haley’s session at the Chickamauga Battlefield. With the variety of locations, this was the perfect choice for their nature location. We finished the session around downtown Chattanooga.
They wanted a nice mix of city spots, and there are so many good ones close by. She wanted to get a similar feel to the ivy walls at Bluff View, but since they charge to shoot up there, we found some other options. We shot near Community Pie, West Village, and the Passageways art installation.
We loved working with Matthew+Haley for their engagement session, and we can’t wait for their wedding next spring!
