Jared+Sunnie are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with.  For their deluxe engagement session, they wanted to incorporate both urban and nature settings. I love the way their album turned out because of the variety in location and outfits.

We started the session at a place that’s special to them, Jared’s family’s Innside Restaurant. This iconic diner in downtown Chattanooga, is located in the newly branded West Village. It’s right by the Read House where Sunnie+Jared are getting married this fall. Since we were already downtown, we visited a few more local icons including the Walnut Street Bridge and outside the Hunter Museum.  What I love about Chattanooga is it’s an urban setting that’s easy to maneuver, meaning we can hit several places close by.

From the urban setting, we moved to the Chickamauga Battlefield, one of my favorite spots to get really beautiful wide open shots. This is such a lovely place to capture the natural beauty of the outdoors because of the varying landscapes.

With the extra time in the deluxe session, we can be sure to give clients a large variety of images.  Along with location changes, outfit changes are also important.  I love that Sunnie+Jared chose to go both formal and casual – they have a lot of variety in the album!

I had such a great time working with these two, and I can’t wait for their wedding this fall!
