While most people these days opt for rural or rustic weddings, Deaton+Breanne chose to have an urban wedding in Downtown Chattanooga at Waterhouse Pavilion in Miller Plaza. We took advantage of their location, and have some amazing pictures!
Not only was their wedding itself beautiful, but having it downtown allowed us to have a wide variety of backdrops for their pictures – the iconic Walnut Street Bride with the Aquarium, wide shots of Lookout Mountain behind them, but also one of the amazing public art projects – Passageways in and around alleyways. With the bamboo hanging above them, it created an organic chandelier look alongside the patched brick walls. This may have been one of my favorite shoots.
Deaton+Breanne’s wedding planning was handled by Shaun Cox of Cue the Champagne, and everything went incredibly smooth – no detail was overlooked and Shaun was a blast to work with!
And another quick shout out – Krista of Tarte Cakes made the best wedding cake I’ve ever had. It was not only gorgeous, but amazingly delicious.
As you can tell, Deaton+Breanne’s wedding was amazing – from the organization and flow of the day, to the small details and cake, to the location allowing for a wide variety of photos – their wedding will be one that I remember for a long time!
