Elope at Prentice Cooper State Park in Tennessee

Elope at Prentice Cooper State Park in Tennessee – a partly cloudy day at our favorite forest near Chattanooga.

An early spring sunrise ceremony with Dan+Kristin and their close family. With March weddings, the weather can be a little more unpredictable, but the overcast days always make for gorgeous shots. The sun peaked through as they had their first dance, giving us one of our favorite pictures – the movement of her dress and reflection off of the water is just so lovely.

Their Monday morning ceremony meant there was a great chance of privacy for their ceremony, which is what we always recommend. With the ease of getting to the Snooper’s Rock overlook for incredible views, it’s no wonder it’s become so popular – especially on the weekends.

After their ceremony and family pictures, we captured couples shots of just them at the overlook. From there we moved some spots along the drive back out of the park, including by the TN River.

Looking to elope with a gorgeous view? We do a majority of our weddings here and know the place inside and out. We’d love to work with you to make your day as perfect as Dan+Kristin’s.
