Our engagement photography session with Andrew+Allie this June was a lot of fun. They’re an easy going couple that loves the outdoors and have the best smiles.

Since they love the outdoors so much, they wanted to only shoot only at nature spots. Most engagement sessions I do include some urban locations, so this was a first for me. Even without doing urban locations, their album has a lot of variety because of all the lovely outdoor spots we visited. In fact, Chattanooga has been one of the top contenders for Best Town Ever by Outdoor Magazine for the past few years. Between the valley, mountains, streams, and Tennessee River, we are able to visit a lot of cool places.

We chose to start at the Chickamauga Battlefield because of the wide open landscapes. It’s a fun spot that has tons of open fields and huge trees.

We ended their session on Lookout Mountain at Naked Rock where they got engaged. It was absolutely gorgeous, and we loved being able to include this location into their session. We have a new drone, so we were able to get some really beautiful shots of them on cliffs overlooking the valley.

For engagement photography, we encourage our clients to choose 2-3 different outfits like Andrew+Allie did. This will give their album the most variety of pictures along with the various locations we go to.
