Chris and Megan’s wedding was so much fun. That’s probably the best sentence to describe that day in October. From the beginning of the day to the end of the reception, they had me laughing along with them and their hilarious sense of humor. It was easy to tell that they were the best of friends, not just two people in love.
A cool part of their wedding was that they didn’t have any bridemaids or groomsmen – they chose to keep it simple by showcasing their love and friendship without having to worry about dresses, tuxes, and all of the extras that come along with large wedding parties. The wedding was beautiful and included all of their closest friends and family, while keeping the it truly about them.
A detail that really struck me and still gives me chills to this day, is Chris’s reaction to seeing Megan for the first time that day. He grabbed his face and started weeping in a way that was incredibly true to how he was feeling. You could see all the love and emotion of their seven years together, come pouring out upon seeing her.
The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, and I’m so glad I was able to capture their glowing smiles on a perfect day in October.
