For Alicia and Darin’s engagement session, we started in downtown Chattanooga, TN on the Walnut Street bridge. It’s such an iconic location, with the stark blue of the bridge and the Chattanooga skyline in the background, that getting some shots here was really important to Alicia to capture her love of the city where she grew up. After taking some more shots around the city, we moved up to a private farm on Lookout Mountain to capture Alicia and Darin in some more natural settings. They share a deep affinity for hiking and the natural environment, so it was important for me to have them in a place that represents so much of their relationship. We ended at Sunset Rock on Lookout Mountain which offers some of the most incredible views of the Chattanooga Valley. Alicia and Darin were one of the most easy-going, natural couples I have had the pleasure to photograph. The comfort and love that they have for each other came through so beautifully in their pictures. We look forward to witnessing their union in November!
