Victoria+Phil are a super sweet, young couple with an upcoming fall wedding. With save-the-date cards needing to go out soon, they opted for a spring time session. Late April is one of the best times to do engagement shoots because it’s finally warm and things are in bloom. I love the vibrant green of spring time sessions, and I’m glad they were up for hitting these gorgeous spots.

We suggested doing their deluxe session at three places in order to give them a lot of variety of images. We started out at Coolidge Park, a downtown icon of Chattanooga. In the spring time it can be super busy here, but we were able to get some really beautiful sunset pictures with the Walnut Street Bridge in the background.

From Coolidge Park and City Center, we moved to the more open landscapes of the Chickamauga Battlefield. This is a favorite spot of mine to come in spring and fall because of the way the sunlight works here. Along with the open fields, there are still huge and lovely trees, giving even more variety to the client’s album.

For the last part of their session, we moved up to Sunset Rock. Coming up here is great because it gives us some really dramatic shots with the Tennessee Valley. Victoria+Phil were wonderful to work with, and I’m so happy they were up for driving to the different places. Giving clients a large variety of images to choose from is what I love about our deluxe engagement sessions.
