Tennessee Forest Elopement – a morning forest elopement near Chattanooga with a first look at Gardens in the Gorge.
Marc+Joanna chose the non-traditional time for their elopement at Snooper’s Rock – evening, close to sunset. The overlook is in the full shade at this time, and timed to have some sunset shots on the banks of the TN River afterwards. Just another reason we love this spot – so many times of day to have your ceremony that are all lovely.
This location has gotten even more popular over the years, so picking an evening timeframe worked better for these two, ensuring few, if any people would be there. They also opted to stay at Garden in the Gorge, giving them a lovely backdrop for their First Look, before getting up to the overlook.
They chose our 2 Hour All-Inclusive Elopement Package (and added video), with Matt Setliff as their officiant, and giving them plenty of time to capture their first look, ceremony, and post-ceremony pictures. We also love that they added the extra detail of having their cake and champagne at the overlook – we love so much about how they planned their day and are thrilled by how all of their pictures turned out.
