As with most couples, when Matt+Micah were planning theirΒ big day, they knew that having the right wedding photography was crucial to telling their story. Β Since we are good friends, they already knew my work and reached out about my availability. Β I am so happy it worked out, and that I was able to give them the pictures they wanted.
Matthew is from London, Micah is from America, and they met in Sydney, Australia in 2003. They lost touch for a number of years but amazingly reconnected. He eventually moved to Chattanooga to be closer to Micah and the rest is history!
Their wedding at a little Methodist Church was gorgeous, followed by a fantastic time at Tennessee Riverplace for their reception. Micah looked stunning in her strapless dress, and her red lipstick popped in the pictures. Β This gave herΒ such an elegant and classically beautiful look.
Matt’s family is from Scotland, so their wedding reflected his heritage with custom made kilts for the men. Β What made the day even cooler was that the weather helped give the day the feeling of being in the Scottish highlands – the overcast clouds and slight mist surrounding the mountains by Tennessee Riverplace was perfect.
Wedding photography is a big decisionΒ for couples, and being chosen by Matt+Micah was such an honor. Β Working with them was a great experience from beginning to end! Β I wish them the best on this new chapter in their lives!
